Hiya all.

I created a subdomain and added Wordpress (buggy monster that is turned out to be!!!) and after futzing with the webcomic plugin utility for more than 6 hours and being close to tears over it.  I and my host tech team both gave up!  I mean, these guys are stellar.  They actually staid with me for nearly two hours to work out the problems and it comes down to the fact that the install wasn't creating the proper file category for an archive.  And I could find no resources on the web to indicate where I could manually install the missing folder myself.

So I nixed the webcomic plugin and istalled the ComicPress theme utility and its accompanying plugin.  Still VERY buggy, but they were bugs I could fix and after about 3 more hours I had an install I could use.  I've litterally beenat this ALL DAY!

What the problem with ComicPress is, is that it is difficult to customize and the upload utility still has a bug that only allows me to upload one image per day or else it adds them all the the main post.  So I uploaded all 7 pages, but I had to "schedule" activation on the subsequent pages for future dates.   It worked... Soon as midnight rolled around the 2nd, then the site updated with the new post.

So it now has two pages and over the next few days those additional pages will be published.  That should play itself out right about the time page 8 is ready to go up.  (which is open to be worked on right now.  I need to get away from the code monkey shite for a while)

So HERE IT IS!  The shiny new home for Winter's Solace.   I will still be posting updates here, but I will also be adding them there to it permanent home.   Unfortunately, to lessen spam you'll have to sign in to leave feedback.  I know that sucks but experience tells me otherwise I'll be arse deep in spam messages.  I may still be anyway.

Now...the "baby theme" thing isn't working... it's super glitch-tastic too.  And so I've not added a "look" per se.  Anyone savvy with CSS that wants to help me customize this place is invited because I am reaching the end of my know how.   I can change simple things in the look, like the color of font, etc... and will be doing so.  But what I need is someone who knows how to do broader sweeping CSS customizations so that I can have a really smooth, thematic viewing experience.

Hugs to all!
