I love this place, this blog. Discernment Street has been lots of fun to use and I will continue to use it. But I recently found myself in need of a blog for NON-fandom art.
Now, I am currently fiddling with a Wordpress installation with the "webcomic" plugin (which is buggy as hell) that I could use as an extra blog. But it may be a while before the bugs are fixed and I can use it to post my comics in sequential order. (And yes, Winter's Solace will be there for sequential viewing too) But it doesn't solve my need for a plain ole art blog for all my regular art.
So I created one on LJ this morning. It's 
hopehoover , if you all wanna follow it. There won't be any fandom art there though, just a blog with some of my regular pro work and of course my endless artistic fapping.
The first art post features the art on the main sub page rather than behind a cut, but that was just to use that post as point for testing layouts. (When you post wide image files, you have to test the look of the style to make sure it can accommodate the image without cutting it off or knocking it out of frame.) In general though, from now on anything large will be behind a cut. So no worries if you wanna friend me!
